The Conkouati Douli National Park was established by Presidential Decree No. 99-136 bis of August 14, 1999. It covers an area of ​​504,950ha. It is located in the Kouilou Department, straddling the districts of Nzambi and Madingo-Kayes, at the northwestern end of the department. it includes a continental part and a marine part. It is limited: North-East and North-West by the village Cotovindou, following the border between Congo and Gabon, to the point of intersection with the national road No. 5 NDINDI-GABON-NZAMBI.
