Djibouti - Protected natural area of Djalélo
The terrestrial natural area of Djalelo is located in the region of Arta, 40 km from the capital. It covers an area of about 45 km² and is home to the Waller's gazelle also called Gerenuk, (Litocranius walleri) or "gazelle giraffe", an endemic species. It is a kind of antelope with long slender legs and a slender neck, which owes its name of "gazelle giraffe".
