Djibouti - Protected natural area of ​​Djalélo

The terrestrial natural area of ​​Djalelo is located in the region of Arta, 40 km from the capital. It covers an area of ​​about 45 km² and is home to the Waller's gazelle also called Gerenuk, (Litocranius walleri) or "gazelle giraffe", an endemic species. It is a kind of antelope with long slender legs and a slender neck, which owes its name of "gazelle giraffe".
