Chad - Prints and cave paintings of Ennedi and Tibesti
Globally, there are two hundred engraving stations and about sixty paintings in Tibesti, to which should be added those around the massif, which connect them to the Central Sahara or to Ennedi, where important cultural contributions from Nubia have come. and in Sudan.
These engravings and paintings date from the 4th millennium BC: wild fauna incised with very deep lines, some sketchy characters with rounded piquet heads; Wild fauna in the ancient Neolithic transition, incised oxen, giraffes.
In the middle Bovidian period, we notice: the style of Tamada, polychrome oxen, men and women; the koko style: village life, numerous representations of the huts, harp players, women grinding grains, hunting hares ....
