Brazil - Canyon of Rio Peruaçu, Minas Gerais

Kastic canyon with about sixty sites of prehistoric occupation and spectacular rock art, concentrated in an area of ​​12 km2 Relict vegetation and animal species threatened with extinction, in a natural region of grandiose landscapes, close to the Reserve des Indians Xacriaba. The archaeological sites contain remnants of occupation from 12,000 BP until the colonial period.
