Territory marked by human presence and Mediterranean trade from the earliest times, it is marked by strong historical imprints (Greek, Roman, medieval and modern), and the combination of the work of a number of greatest European artists of the twentieth century in search of light and color."

Banyuls-sur-Mer (Catalan: Banyuls de la Marenda) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. It was first settled by Greeks starting in 400 BCE. Again thanks to Jean-Pierre of France for mailing this mint postcard from France inside envelope postmarked Oct 21, 2020 and received in Penang Island on Nov 26, 2020.
