"The cities of Nimes, Arles, Glanum are at an important traffic hub in the history of the territories of the Roman Empire: the junction points of the path Regordane, the Via Aurelia, the Via Agrippa and Via Domitia . Activities related to these channels of communication have resulted in numerous quality constructions that have come down to modern times and which constitute the core of the ancient heritage of southern France. This heritage is made up of urban monuments, the remains of aqueducts and other works related to roads."
