"Covering the valley of the middle reach of Yaluzangbu River,its branches and some lakes on the Tibetan Plateau,Yalong region is the cradle of Tibetan culture.The extant relics,artifacts and ancient sites demonstrate the early civilization of the Tibetans,including their early religion,culture,arts and society.Yalong region covers an area of 1350 square kilometers.It is an area of high cultural and natural value on the QinghaiTibetan Plateau."
