The Boucle du Baoulé covers a vast area of nearly 1,000,000 ha. It has four nature reserves (the Baoulé Loop National Park, the Fina, Kongossambougou and Badinko reserves), between which there are unclassified corridors (essentially corresponding to village lands). In addition to a variety of flora and fauna, the Boucle du Baoulé has an important archaeological site with, to date, more than 300 identified archaeological sites.
