Cambodia - Kulen Waterways (No longer listed in Tentative List)

"This forested area is of great historical importance, also called the Angkor water tower, it offers many archaeological sites (Temples, enclosures, rock sites, moats and basins); in a special issue of Asian Arts (1973), "The archaeological sites of the Bhnam Gulan region", Jean Boulbet and Bruno Dagens listed forty two monumental groups. The remarkable site of Kpal Sban or the Thousand Linga River, which was discovered in February 1968 and which stretches over nearly 200 meters, must be highlighted in particular."
