Ecuador - Bosque petrificado de Puyango

Petrified forest including fossils such as ammonites, trilobites, and petrified woods, dating 70 million years BP, and covering an extension of at least 2568 hectares. It is located in Southern Ecuador and under the jurisdiction of both El Oro and Loja Provinces.
